HICE is fortunate to play home matches in a beautiful parkland setting with superb facilities. We have two cricket squares catering for 14 wickets (10 + 4) along with an all weather wicket on the edge of the main square and a separate practice net which can be used at any time except when the smaller 2nd square is in use.
We have a separate "pavillion" with rooms for two teams and a room for umpires. These are normally used for storing equipment whilst playing on the main square. Changing and showering facilities are provided in the main club house. For the 2nd square we erect a gazebo which doubles as a scorers tent and cover in case of inclement weather.
The main club, as well as housing the changing facilities, also has two bars and facilities for special events or celebrations. HICE currently has 4 fully ECB qualified coaches so players of all ages and abilities are welcome and have access to these coaches. Junior team members are welcome at the clubs winter nets and during the season have a their own training on a Sunday morning from 10:00 am.
